After the B.A. in Philosophy, I started teaching in “Victor Ungurean” High School, Câmpia Turzii, Cluj, Romania, in 1992. In 2007 I participated with two of my paintings “The Music of the Spheres” and “Folklor” in the auction of the Charity Crystal Ball, organized by The City Council of Câmpia Turzii.
In may 2009 I participated in the Cromatic Horizons Exhibition organized by the Plastic Artists Association of Campia Turzii (I am one of the founders of this association).

This painting is a part of a series named Alchemy (series that is inspired by the painting named “The Alchemist“ realized for the on-line exhibition The House of Mirrors 2008)The central character - the woman who is the subject of this exhibition - is, in my vision, the feminine alter ego of the Alchemist. Her entire existence is under the sign of looking for the Absolute (The Philosophical Stone being symbolized by the pelican).
